Just spent our anniversary weekend here. Very, very nice place! Exceptionally clean, very well stocked on kitchen tools, comfortable bed, and plenty of space! The view off the deck while soaking in the hot tub is great! Even caught a fish off the shore on our last night there. Cabin 10 is where we stayed and we re-booked for the same weekend at checkout this morning. Probably going to inquire about a couples weekend of snowmobiling come winter time. Thanks for having us!
Our second time booking a cabin here, cabin 5 and 6 are the pet friendly cabins. Right on the water, the views are great. The cabins are clean, and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils. The propane bbq/grill is high quality. Would book here again.
Just incredible! Staff were so friendly. We stayed in cabin 6 for two nights after our wedding. The cabin was spotless and very cozy. The kitchen was new and clean. The jacuzzi was AMAZING! The view… what can we say… we needed to unwind and that gorgeous view and quiet was just what we needed. Although it was mid September, we spent some time in a paddle boat in the harbour and went for a cold but fun swim in front of our cabin. We have already decided to make that our anniversary getaway every year. See you next year!!!
Stayed in cabin #10 two week nights in February 2025. Hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake. Wood stove inside with wood provided. Was -30C outdoors but we were cozy warm reading and playing games. Amazing. Well kept and cannot beat the location! Sun shone in every window all day long plus sunsets!!! The owners take such good care of everything. Thank you!
Just spent a week in Riverview cabins 8 & 9. Owners are great, prompt and friendly service. Cabin were clean and well stocked…Wifi is good…appreciated the complimentary water jug/cooler. Great green space under trees for kids to play and have family time. Decks are great for early morning coffee or watching stunning sunsets. Complimentary kayaks/canoes/paddle boat. Water is perfect for kayaking, for beginners there’s several bays to explore and more experienced have options to kayak to Margaret Lake or Dorothy Lake…large boat traffic was minimal…just a wonderful peaceful and relaxing place to get away. Thank you Margriet and Walter for having us.
My husband and I just spent 2 nights at Riverview Lodge and we absolutely loved it. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed both the hottub and cozy woodstove as well in this cold weather. We came on snowmobile, it was easy to get there and at a great location with many trails around! The owners are super nice and we can’t wait to come back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverview Lodge during the February long weekend. The cabin we were in was spectacular, and the gas fireplace definitely helped to keep the cabin warm and cozy while it was -30 °C outside. We braved the cold a few times during our stay, first with snowshoeing on the lake using the snowshoes Walter and Margriet have for guests to borrow, and then with leisurely walking through the nearby woods. It snowed a bit over our last night and Walter went above and beyond and blew our car off in the morning before packing up. Margriet and Walter are fabulous hosts! We highly recommend Riverview Lodge, and are already talking about returning for a weekend stay next year.
Very nice place, the house has everything you need. We spent a wonderful weekend here with my family. The owners are very kind, in touch. We will come back here in the Summer!
